According to Reuters, the Packaging Corp. of America (PCA) has inked a deal to acquire TimBar, a Pennsylvania-based company that offers "substrates, printing methods and services such as design, fulfillment and inventory management," according to its website.
The $386 million deal results in PCA acquiring five corrugated products plants, two fulfillment centers and four design centers located in the eastern and southeastern United States. PCA will acquire TimBar in a cash-free, debt-free transaction and will secure "substantially all of [the] assets of Timbar Corporation," according to Reuters.
Mergers & Acquisitions reports that the deal is expected to close in August 2016.
