Parelec’s Ludmerer steps down

Parelec Inc., a global supplier of inks for fully additive printing of electronic circuits, announced that Steven L. Ludmerer is leaving the company effective October 31, 2006. Ludmerer has been part of Parelec since 1999.

Geva Barash, Parelec’s Chief Executive Officer, has been named its new President. Barash has worldwide industry knowledge in RFID, as well as in graphic arts printing. Prior to joining Parelec, Barash was Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Nur America and CEO of I-Ray technologies US subsidiary.

“Steve brought a lot to Parelec, especially following prominent positions held at DuPont and Union Carbide/Dow. He will likewise bring a wealth of strategic experience to his next venture,” notes Barash. “We wish him all the best. At the same time, our focus remains the same—to continue building Parelec into a leading global provider of conductive ink and related technologies.”

In 2006, Parelec launched a rapidly growing Certified Partner Program to bring together printers, substrate manufacturers, chip suppliers, chip attachment technologies, label makers, custom integrators, and end users to streamline RFID project production. The program’s goal is to take the guesswork out of RFID labels for all parties.

Parelec applies nanotechnology and advanced materials systems to develop and market conductive inks and related materials for the manufacture of electronic circuits. The company’s core product lines, Parmod® inks and pastes and Modflex™ films, provide cost, speed, and functional improvements over traditional circuit production materials, which benefit both producers and users of electronic circuits. Parelec’s products are used to provide low-cost RFID antenna, specialty and flexible circuits, intelligent packaging, heaters/defrosters for plastic windows, and in semiconductor packaging for a wide variety of electronics and consumer products.
