RockTenn Facilities Earn Triple Chain-of-Custody Certification
NORCROSS, Ga.—Continuing its commitment to environmental responsibility, RockTenn announced that it has received triple chain-of-custody (CoC) certification for all of its corrugated packaging facilities including converting, graphics, and preprint locations.
Certified corrugated converting facilities include locations in Athens, AL; Camillus, NY; Dayton, NJ; Deer Park, NY; Devens, MA; Gallatin, TN; Hauppauge, NY; Lancaster, PA; Mooresville, NC; Murfreesboro, TN; Newark, NJ; Norcross, GA; and Spartanburg, SC. Certified graphics and preprint operations include locations in Dayton, NJ; Hebron, KY; and Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. These facilities are now independently certified to standards of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC), representing the leading global forestry certification bodies. These organizations provide standards for third-party validation of each plant's documented processes and chain-of-custody monitoring.
