Flint Group Introduces New Corrugated Plate for Deep Relief
Designed for the North American corrugated market by Flint Group Flexographic Products, the new nyloflex FRC printing plate is designed to provide superior resistance to chipping during plate washout—a common issue among many corrugated plates, especially thick plates with deep relief requirements. The new plate is based on an optimized formulation for faster exposure and processing times to improve productivity. The unique composition of the plate results in increased durability during processing, making it less likely to chip and offers superior print quality on all types of corrugated boards. The new plate is ideal for all corrugated print applications ranging from challenging graphics and multi-color designs to simple line work. It is available in both analog and digital formats and thicknesses ranging from .112” to .250”.

High Power Flat Air Nozzle Saves Space and Money
EXAIR’s new 1” High Power Flat Super Air Nozzle produces a flat 1” (25mm) wide airstream with a strong blowing force of 16 ounces (462g) when mounted 12” (305mm) from the target. The unique design of this super-efficient nozzle makes it an ideal fit for both tight spaces and tight budgets. The airstream pulls in surrounding room air to produce a wide, forceful stream of high velocity, laminar airflow. Air consumption is 17.5 SCFM (495 SLPM) at 80 PSIG. The 82 dBA sound level is below the limits of the OSHA maximum allowable noise exposure standard 29 CFR 1910.95(a). Force and flow may be easily adjusted by installing different shim thicknesses.

Mark Andy Digital Series features Esko ProWORX Digital Front End
Mark Andy’s new Digital Series hybrid presses feature ProWORX, a DFE (Digital Front End) designed by Esko.ProWORX enables consistent control between the Mark Andy Digital Series and the digital file management workflows currently used by converters. It can easily be integrated into a networked infrastructure when linked to the Esko Automation Engine as well as others.
Once the DFE accepts a print-ready PDF file to a hot folder, the ProWORX server executes a number of tasks with Esko-based automation and integration that ensures jobs are processed faster with minimized manual intervention. Tasks include, but are not limited to, Step & Repeat, Color Management, Pre-flighting, Pre-viewing, Eye-marking, Job Optimization and more. ProWORX job tickets are then prioritized to hot folders, where files are ripped and sent to the Mark Andy Digital Series press, instantly queued up for immediate printing and converting.

Kill bacteria with Derprosa films
Derprosa’s Anti- Bacterial film kills 99.9% of bacteria that coms in contact with it, making it more than suitable for packaging fruits, vegetables and frozen foods.
Derprosa specializes in the manufacture and marketing of Standard and Specialty films, for the food sector. These films, in addition to being part of the package or container, provide a high level of safety, hygiene and conservation to the food or household products. Other Derprosa speciality films with differentiating features include Anti-Fog and Clear Anti-Fog. Using Derprosa Anti-Fog film, food can be stored within the container in the refrigerator for 15 days without fog forming on the inside. The films are printable and can be converted immediately without having to wait for their properties to settle as is the case with other similar films.
Another major innovation from Derprosa is the biodegradable transparent film, a film with the same quality as the other Derprosa films but which can degrade over a period between 18 and 36 months under certain conditions of temperature, light and humidity.
