Outlook Group Earns Three Environmental Certifications
NEENAH, Wis.—Outlook Group Corp. has been certified in three environmental programs: the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), the Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI), and the Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).
“All three of these programs deliver on our commitment to environmental sustainability,” said Joseph J. Baksha, president and CEO of Outlook Group. “We have a history of environmental responsibility that includes a strong internal sustainability program based on awareness and concern for our natural resources, commitment to conservation, and emphasis on operational efficiency.”
Each of the certifications earned by Outlook Group are for chain-of-custody programs, which monitor the origin of wood and paper products, beginning with the forest of origin and following the product through all stages of processing and distribution. The certifications serve as a “code of conduct” for the forest products industry, and there are strict criteria that must be met in order to be accepted into the programs.
“Consumer demand for products that are developed following sustainable business practices has grown considerably over the past several years. Our ability to offer our clients eco-friendly printing, packaging, direct mail, and supply-chain services not only benefits our business, but theirs as well, making these certifications a win-win for everyone,” stated Baksha.
