Oracle Acquires TOLAS Healthcare Packaging
TULSA, Okla.—Furthering its ongoing commitment to continued growth within the healthcare packaging sector, Oracle Packaging announced today that it has acquired TOLAS Healthcare Packaging, Feasterville, PA. TOLAS converts medical grade DuPont Tyvek, reinforced and surgical kraft papers, laminated and co-extruded films, and multi-layer foil constructions to produce high-performance pharmaceutical and medical device packaging. Products include puncture-resistant, heat sealable and sterilizable pouches, tubing, bags and high-barrier foil lidding. The company’s converting operations are equipped for printing, coating, die-cutting, pouching, slitting, laminating, and sheeting.
“For over 30 years TOLAS has served the global healthcare market providing superior flexible packaging, outstanding service and expert technical support, said Scott Dickman, president and CEO for Oracle Packaging. “Like Oracle, quality, service, responsiveness and innovation have served as the foundation for TOLAS’ success,” he said.
TOLAS integrates with Oracle’s eight manufacturing facilities, contributing a 50,000-square-foot converting operation in suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a 20,000-square-foot coating operation in suburban Cincinnati, OH.
For over 25 years, both companies have been successful partners in the development of many products for the healthcare market. ”As TOLAS joins the Oracle Packaging family, our combined resources will position us to provide our customers with the industry’s best possible medical device and pharmaceutical packaging solutions and create additional resources to support continued growth, technology development and operational excellence,” said Dickman.
