In a recent systematic evaluation, the long-term aging performance of nine different formulations of hot melt adhesives was tested on a siliconized release liner. The "template" formulations of the hot melts were discussed with leading suppliers of adhesive raw materials. The goal was to represent a range of standard hot melts available on the market.
