From October 18 to 20, the global printing industry will gather in Atlanta to explore the latest innovations, applications and trends. Employees can be guided by instructions or supplied with information at the respective work steps. It also allows feedback and status updates to be provided, which makes real-time tracking of the production status possible.
Software meets hardware
By integrating OneVision middleware software into their various systems and machines, print service providers can create seamless workflows to increase machine utilization and throughput. To see an example of how this works, a working station will be set up at the Canon U.S.A., Inc. booth demonstrating an automated preparation of production files for printing, finishing and embellishment. Creation of barcodes and leading print form creation technology (e.g. nesting/ganging, impose) are, amongst others, some of the highlights that will be featured.
