Omet Named Innovative Company at the Confindustria Awards

Omet has been named as one of Italy’s most innovative companies at the Confindustria Awards for Excellence at a ceremony held in Rome on 29th January.

The company was selected after careful analysis of its processes for generating innovation, such as investment, patents, and use of human resources. The judging panel also looked at the results of Omet’s innovative activity in relation to factors typically controlled by the R&D department, and those which indicate the company’s competitive and economic performance.

The Awards for Excellence has been promoted by Confindustria as a way of rewarding the best companies on a national level, merited for their capacity to promote goods ‘Made in Italy,’ to act as a reference for the region, and for their work in the development and the implementation of innovation.
