Automatic Transfer Rewinders
Martin Automatic offers its LRD and STR automatic transfer rewinders for use in label and narrow-web applications. The LRD is used for pressure-sensitive labels, pharmaceutical cartons, lottery tickets, and flexible packaging, among others. It can wind 8˝ up to 40˝ diameter rolls on the same machine. The STR model is designed specifically for narrow-web pressure-sensitive label work. Upgraded Finishing Platforms
Mark Andy/Rotoflex has overhauled its two most popular models to respond directly to evolving finishing needs. A revamped VSI model was released late last year at Labelexpo Europe and a redesigned VLI model will be available in March 2012. Both VSI and VLI feature top-quality inspection capabilities, roll-end control, and fault placement commanded by the Genesis advanced control system. Inspection Rewind
AB Graphic International's Omega HSR is a high-speed slitter inspection rewinder that benefits from larger unwind/rewind diameters and runs at speeds up to 1,312 fpm.
