Foundation of FTA Accepting Scholarship Applications
BOHEMIA, NY—Foundation of Flexographic Technical Association (FFTA) is pleased to announce it is accepting entries for the 5th Annual FFTA/Rossini North America Flexographic Scholarship competition. Open to full-time students majoring in a program focusing on flexography and looking to further themselves in the flexographic industry, this is one of the industry’s most generous and prestigious scholarships that students can achieve.
A first and second place award is bestowed to winning students or groups of students and their institutions and is allocated as follows:
First Place: $13,000
Student award = $10,000
Institutional award = $3,000
Second Place: $9,500
Student award = $7,500
Institutional award = $2,000
“This year Mr. & Mrs. Rossini have graciously increased the scholarship amount from $20,000 to $22,500. Additionally, now a group of students can apply for the scholarship, whereas before it was only available to a project by one student,” said Jay Kaible, director of membership and business development. “Furthermore, knowing that students receive project assistance from their instructors, as well as access to specific equipment and materials, this scholarship will once again reward the educational institution where the winning student(s) is enrolled.”
In addition to the monetary award, the student recipient or student group leader recipient will be provided with an all-expense paid trip to the FTA Annual Forum (April 28 - May 1; San Diego, CA) courtesy of Mr. & Mrs. Rossini. The recipients will be announced at the Awards Banquet.
