Meyers, a national leader in brand marketing and high-end commercial printing, announced it has once again achieved G7 Master Qualification from Idealliance, an international not-for-profit industry organization dedicated to guiding print production best practices, specifications, and standards. This is the 12th consecutive year Meyers has achieved Master Qualification.
Achieving G7 Master Qualification means Meyers has established gray balance across all presses, allowing printers to remove subjective judgments from discussions of color. As a result, presses will produce a similar visual experience regardless of the press, print process, or substrate used. Meyers received Colorspace compliance, the most stringent of three qualification levels offered by Idealliance. This assures Meyers’ printing system can consistently reproduce the entire color space.
With approximately 1,500 G7 Master-qualified printers worldwide, the recognition is a way to identify print partners who go the extra mile to assure color print output is predictable and consistent.
“With brands represented in so many places, it is more important than ever to ensure that materials will look the same every time, in any format. G7 Qualification is our guarantee that Meyers will reproduce colors consistently and efficiently regardless of the tools or materials we use for a given project.” said Micheal Lane, CEO, Meyers. “G7 Qualification allows our staff to manage projects more effectively and reduce waste and make-ready time during press runs. That makes it easier for us to communicate with clients, and to consistently meet their high standards.”
In order to achieve G7 Master Qualification, Meyers employed a G7 Expert to analyze its print processes and bring systems to a set specification that allows repeatable, predictable results.
“G7 provides a significant advantage for Meyers, utilizing the G7 Master Program to assure measurable, predictable, and uniform color management processes,” says Timothy Baechle, CEO for Idealliance. “G7 Master Qualification demonstrates a level of control and expertise that places Meyers at the top of their field. We applaud their leadership, commitment, and support of the G7 Master Qualification Program.”
