Highcon announced that Menasha Packaging Company LLC has purchased two Highcon Beam 2 Digital Die Cutting systems for installation at one of its North American packaging facilities. Menasha is a part of Menasha Corporation, a multi-billion dollar enterprise established over 170 years ago with approximately 7,000 employees and 100 facilities across North America and Europe.
Menasha Packaging helps its customers to protect, move and promote their products, producing folding carton packaging, corrugated packaging, and display merchandising solutions for over 2,500 global brands. Menasha also operates a North American network of fulfillment centers, helping their customers distribute their product across all channels, both in-store and online.
This is a landmark deal for Highcon following extensive due diligence by Menasha, and close collaboration with Highcon’s US-based go-to-market team, as well as Highcon’s agent, Sun Automation. It’s the first occasion in which a customer has acquired two Highcon Beam systems in a single transaction for installation at a single site. The deal marks Highcon’s best-ever year for the sale of Highcon Beam 2 systems for folding carton applications, a critical pillar in the company’s strategy going into a drupa year.
“I am excited about Menasha’s focus on modernizing their network, and their intent to build a more strategic relationship with Highcon with these efforts. We hope the end result is multiple Highcon systems being installed across Menasha’s production facilities” said Shlomo Nimrodi, Highcon’s CEO. “Our partnership with Menasha is recognition once again of the important role that Highcon can play in the evolving and growing paperboard packaging market. I am very proud.”
