Melissa Culp is Stocking and Rolling as Case's New Senior Manager of Supply Chain Operations
Look out (paper and paperboard) world, Melissa Culp is the new Senior Manager of Supply Chain Operations at Case! Melissa has been rolling with Case for over a decade and has thrived while wearing many different (paper) hats. Her journey with Case began in the Samples Department and then moved into Production before she became a Claims Coordinator and Support Service Manager for Inventory. Having excelled in each of her roles, it goes without saying that Melissa is on top of her sheet!
With her wealth of experience, tenacious drive, and big picture thinking, Melissa is the complete package for this new role, as Case looks to develop a new department dedicated to all things supply chain. Her top priority will be to optimize communications with suppliers so they can execute at top-shelf levels. Some of her many responsibilities will include overseeing all purchasing activities for paper and paperboard, improving purchasing processes and procedures for all consumable items, forecasting and planning for all mills, managing ERP supplier price books and schedules, handling vendor negotiations and supplier management, and hitting inventory targets…just to name a few. There’s no one better to manage all that “pulp” than Melissa Culp.
In her free time, Melissa loves to try new things (as her many roles at Case would suggest). She’s an excellent cook and is constantly experimenting with new recipes (she recently baked a 3-ingredient crusty bread, and it was to die for). She likes to unwind watching Survivor and Big Brother, if Pretty Woman is on TV she won’t change the channel, and she always has room for pistachio ice cream.
Everyone knows Melissa will be On the Case in her new role because she’s been doing it since day one. Congrats!
