Astron Packaging has also invested in a Performance Series P5. The company is a leading supplier of corrugated boxes and self-adhesive labels. The 10-inch (250 mm) wide, 8-color press will add to the broad printing and converting capabilities already in place at Astron. The press is outfitted with extensive options including chilled impression rolls, a rail system to house a web turnbar, cold foil unit, a rotary screen head, and a rotary hot foil stamp unit, all to further enhance Astron’s capacity.
