MacDermid Graphics Solutions will feature the LUX ITP M, the latest product from the LUX Technology Platform, and the LAVA NW thermal plate processing system at Labelexpo Americas from September 13-15 in Chicago. MacDermid will be exhibiting in booths 937 and 1217.
"Because we are constantly innovating, we are looking forward to exhibiting the latest technology solutions from MacDermid,” said Ryan Vest, global director of innovation at MacDermid.
With that in mind, MacDermid's LAVA NW platemaking equipment is specifically suited for the tag and label industry. This type of thermal processing is an ideal solution for the narrow web market because the footprint for the equipment is much smaller and faster, compared to solvent processing. The LAVA NW represents the latest thermal technology available and MacDermid’s continued commitment to continuous innovation with its thermal program.
MacDermid provides multiple photopolymer plates suited for the tag and label industry. LUX In-The-Plate M is the latest product with LUX flat-top dots directly in the plate. It is the newest product available from the award winning LUX technology platform. LUX ITP M is a medium durometer plate specifically designed for paper stocks, preprinted liner board and other applications where a combination of high durability and excellent ink laydown is required. This plate features MacDermid's latest clean print technology and can be used along with LAVA NW platemaking equipment to create a fully optimized workflow.
"The tag and label market is an integral and essential part of MacDermid’s growth strategy and we will be investing heavily into furthering our presence with technology and resources," Patrick Mullaney, business director for North America at MacDermid Graphics Solutions, said.
MacDermid products will be featured in its distributor's booths, including All Printing Resources (booth 937) and JV Imaging Solutions (booth 1217).
