BROOKFIELD, Wis.—In honor of Super Bowl XL at Ford Field in Detroit, the Detroit Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau (DMCVB) has commissioned National Graphics, Inc., to use its Extreme Vision® Lenticular Imaging 3D Technology for its commemorative cover on the winter issue of Visit Detroit Magazine for newsstands, subscribers and DMCVB members.
Hosting Super Bowl XL in Detroit is a rare opportunity to do something extra-special with its most-widely read visitor publication.
"We chose the lenticular medium so our publication will stand out from the rest and make Visit Detroit's Super Bowl XL issue an exciting collectible," said Laura Coniglio, Visit Detroit Associate Publisher. "The DMCVB commissioned artist Nick Gaetano to create a distinctive work of art that captures the essence of Detroit as a destination. The National Graphics Extreme Vision® 3D lenticular imaging really enhanced this original artwork."
National's unprecedented 3D effect utilizes their proprietary interlacing andimage-build software that results in dramatic dimensionality (3D). National's image-build specialist uniquely positioned each image element at multiple levels for an optimal 3D effect.
