Dalkey, Ireland—DPLenticular Ltd., a European supplier of lenticular plastic sheets and rolls for the graphic arts industry, reports a two-digit production increase for 2008. This trend confirms the growing interest in the lenticular market, and particularly in the company’s unique range of Lenstar™ lenticular products for offset and digital printing applications, presented at drupa 2008.
Daniel Pierret, Managing Director and founder of DPLenticular comments: “At drupa, with a reinforced presence across no less than ten stands, we were able to connect with our global partners from around the world and meet a truly international audience, resulting in excellent contacts and sales in the months following the show.”
With more than ten years experience in the lenticular market, DPLenticular has secured its reputation as a trusted and leading provider of lenticular products in Europe. The company recently changed its company name and corporate branding in March 2008 from LPC Europe to DPLenticular.
Daniel Pierret further adds: “We are extremely pleased with the continued progress of DPLenticular following our newly-acquired corporate branding earlier this year. Despite the global economic weakness, sales of our lenticular printing solutions continued to blossom in 2008 and we are thrilled to announce very positive end-year results. 2008 has been an excellent year for us and results have exceeded our wildest expectations. In 2009, we will continue to focus on building our reputation and developing new lenticular printing applications, thus providing the graphic arts industry with the best lenticular plastic sheets and rolls available on the European market.”
Bob Marriott, DPLenticular’s representative for the UK concludes: “Lenticular printing maintains a strong position in the UK market and it is set to further grow significantly with the development and introduction of 3D movies and 3D TV in the near future. It is the perfect media to demonstrate the breathtaking effects of these exciting new technologies which give the perception of depth to 2D images. Our 40 lpi VLF product range is particularly successful and we look forward to seeing it on offset and inkjet posters all around the country as we slowly move towards the 2012 Olympic Games.“
