Labelink, a Canadian manufacturer with a diversified portfolio of printing solutions for packaging, announced the acquisition of Taylor Label and The Label Factory, two trade-only label printers. Respectively located in Brampton and Georgetown, the two businesses strengthen Labelink’s presence in Ontario and will accelerate Labelink’s plan to grow its footprint in Western Canada.
“We’re excited about these acquisitions and welcome each staff member into the Labelink family,” says Stéphen Bouchard, president of Labelink. “The talented employees are a great fit to our existing expertise and given our mutual awareness of the needs and expectations of resellers, we are looking forward to combining the wealth of our resources to create outstanding impressions.”
Since 1992 Taylor Label has served Canadian businesses through an extended network of trade brokers. “By joining the Labelink team, we are bringing the trade an unparalleled range of complementary products and solutions. Labelink’s commitment to the trade is a significant development that benefits our brokers and their customers,” explains Lloyd Taylor, the former CEO and owner who will act as Director, Broker Sales at Labelink.
The Label Factory was founded in 1985 and owned by Alex Medd and Carl Minor since 1994. “Just like us, Labelink strives to deliver high-quality products and services by paying close attention to customers’ requirements. For this very reason, the trade network can rest assured that they are in good hands,” declared Carl Minor.
Taylor Label and The Label Factory will continue serving existing and new customers, operating under the Labelink name.
