ETI Enjoys Labelexpo Success

BOUCHERVILLE, Quebec—Labelexpo 2011 proved to be a the most successful Labelexpo show in the history of ETI Converting. With orders in hand, as well as multiple commitments and over 100 serious leads, ETI’s two latest technologies—Miniliner and Linerless technologies—drew a lot of attention in view of label industry trends. The Linerless technology is an environmental solution for release liner wastage and has proven to be a new inexpensive option versus conventional PSA construction requiring a release liner. The Miniliner, which also contributes to reduction in release liner wastage (thinner liner), comes with a 12-micron PET or BOPP liner using conventional die.

Also during Labelexpo, the Cohesio technology was showcased. Visitors to the booth saw the manufacturing of a clear-on-clear construction at speeds of 150 meters a minute—from raw material to finish products. This includes: silicone, adhesive, printing, laminating, and diecutting all done in one step.
