Labelexpo Asia Set for Shanghai December 1-4
The fourth Labelexpo Asia 2009 is taking place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Shanghai from the December 1-4 this year. The show has grown since the last successful event in 2007 with more than 75 percent of exhibition space sold, proving that Labelexpo Asia is one of the largest and most credible label printing exhibitions in Asia.
The last event attracted more than 14,000 visitors and more than 200 exhibitors; Labelexpo Asia 2009 is already set to expect more than 250 exhibitors with an audience of more than 15,000 visitors including label printers and brandowners. Visitors will be able to see all the world’s leading label technologies under one roof. With support from the Shanghai Trade Printing Association, China Academy of Printing Technology (CAPT), Indonesian Packaging Association, China Print, and Printing Industries Association of the Philippines (PIAP), Labelexpo Asia 2009 is gearing up for its best show ever.
With the Chinese label printing industry continuing to develop rapidly with an increasing number of high profile brands moving into China the demand for labels in the region continues grow. Because so much of the world’s manufacturing takes place in China, this is where many of the labeling processes take place, right in the center of the industry.
New exhibitors at Labelexpo Asia this year include Xeikon and Beiren Fuji with Shanghai Xinmin Taiyo increasing its exhibition space to be able to have more machinery on the show floor.
This year there will include a seminar program during the first three days, with three keynote presentations and case studies where delegates will be able to learn about the latest trends and technologies.
Roger Pellow, Labelexpo managing director said: “China continues to be one of the world’s most exciting label markets. Many recent advances in label technology, both in China and around the world, provide extraordinary opportunities for label converters and manufacturers. There is no better place to see this technology in action and make new friends than at Labelexpo Asia and we look forward to welcoming the whole industry at the show. It will be fantastic to be back in Shanghai with visitors and exhibitors alike benefiting from doing business, sharing knowledge and, most importantly, networking and setting up new partnerships and contracts.”
