Label Impressions Expands with Two New Nilpeter Presses
Label Impressions, a progressive label and flexible packaging printer in California, has expanded its operations into a new 30,000 sq. ft. manufacturing space.
"This expansion has been in the works for several years and is part of our long term strategic plan," Jeff Salisbury, Label Impressions' president and CEO, said. “The additional space will house our finishing operation, allow us to install new, wider web flexible package printing and converting equipment, and a digital label printing press.”
In tandem with the expansion, the company has installed two 10-color Nilpeter presses. One press is a 13˝ model while the other is 17˝. The new presses will assist in the development of unique label and pouch products, including 'softscreen' print, a low-cost alternative to expensive screen printing.
Label Impressions's new 17˝ FB-4200 Nilpeter servo press is equipped with full UV-curing systems, auto register and multi-web capabilities, opening doors to new and emerging markets.
