Kurz Transfer Products To Expand Across North America
CHARLOTTE, N.C.—Kurz Transfer Products, L.P. (KTP), announced plans to expand its North American facilities, increasing manufacturing and finishing capacities in multiple locations. The expansions include doubling the size of its Elk Grove, Ill. finishing and distribution facility and installing new finishing equipment in its Anaheim, Calif. facility. Additionally, KTP has concluded a substantial capital investment program in its Lexington, N.C. manufacturing location, sharply increasing domestic production capacities.
Myron Werner, area sales manager for KTP’s graphics foil products said, “We are excited about these expansions. It is important for us to be able to service our customers quickly and efficiently; the expansion of central manufacturing and distribution warehouse plant and equipment will allow us to do just that.”
To meet growing demand for foil products, the Elk Grove Village, Ill. warehouse doubled its physical space and added specialized finishing equipment. This allows a broader selection of foil products to be locally available, enabling virtually immediate response to customer requirements.
Investments in KTP’s Anaheim, Calif. finishing and distribution facility include state-of-the-art slitting, spooling, and cutting equipment, enhancing the ability of the site to provide optimal service for its west coast customer base.
The Lexington, N.C. plant has been expanded for the third time. This latest expansion included new physical plant space and equipment, almost doubling domestic foil production capacity. Products produced in Lexington include KTP’s broad range of Luxor/Alufin metallic foils and Light Line diffraction foils.
“These investments are intended to drive the utmost levels of customer satisfaction through local availability of a broad range of the highest quality stamping foils,” Werner added.
