Kodak Names Kevin Joyce CMO, Taps David Wigfield to Lead GCG
ROCHESTER, N.Y.—Kodak named Kevin M. Joyce chief marketing officer of the company’s growing Graphic Communications Group (GCG), as well as Eastman Kodak Company vice president. He will report to Andrew Copley, COO of GCG and VP of Eastman Kodak. Joyce succeeds Jeff Hayzlett who was named chief business development officer and VP, Eastman Kodak, last fall. David Wigfield, who currently leads the GCG’s business in the United Kingdom, succeeds Kevin Joyce, as managing director, GCG, United States and Canada.
With more than 18 years’ experience in executive sales, marketing and operations leadership, Joyce joined the GCG in 2005 following Kodak’s acquisition of Kodak Polychrome Graphics, where he was vice president of sales, US&C. Joyce also spent eight years with Creo Products, where he held various senior management positions, including president of Creo Americas.
“Kevin brings an extraordinary combination of experience and an intimate understanding of the challenges and opportunities our customers face,” Copley said. “His knowledge of all aspects of the GCG, including the critical role our marketing organization plays in driving revenue and growth, will be an asset to our business all around the world.”
Joyce was named a member of NAPL’s prestigious Walter E. Soderstrom Society and was appointed a member of the NAPL Board of Directors in 2007. Joyce also participates in industry organizations, such as Printing Industries of America and the Web Offset Advisory Committee, and is a member of the board of directors of the Graphic Users Association.
In assuming his new role, Wigfield will be responsible for the overall GCG business and financial performance in the US&C. He will also lead all day to day operations, including sales and marketing of the full GCG portfolio, customer service, equipment service, product support and supply chain management.
Wigfield joined Kodak in 2005 with the company’s acquisition of Creo, where he was Vice President, Sales, for the Europe, Africa, and the Middle East Region. At Kodak, he headed the company’s sales in the same capacity before being named managing director, United Kingdom, in 2006.
“Dave will be missed in the U.K., but his return to the U.S. will be good for all of our customers in North America. He is a great manager and leader with an in depth understanding of the graphic arts industry,” Copley said. “Having worked closely with our customers in Europe during the past six years, Dave can bring new thinking and ideas to our customers in the US&C based on best practices in other parts of the world.”
