KDV Label Chooses Radius Solutions as MIS/ERP Provider

CHICAGO—Radius Solutions Ltd. announced that KDV Label has chosen PECAS Vision as its “next generation” information management system in support of the company’s long-term business objectives.

Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1974, KDV Label is one of the largest family-owned label printers in the nation. The company provides a full range of pressure sensitive and non-pressure sensitive products in a variety of industries such as consumer goods, beverages, food, nutracutical, chemical and petroleum, and promotional products. The organization also embraces the key guiding philosophies of hard work, ingenuity, and experience, combined with the latest in technology to provide high-quality labels and packaging to a diverse group of customers nationwide.

As a growing organization, KDV Label executives wanted to replace its existing, outgrown ERP system, with a fully integrated solution to gain additional efficiency and productivity throughout the business. The new system also needed to provide additional connectivity to customers, along with real-time business intelligence data to facilitate the executive decision-making process.

Deciding on the right technology partner was a key decision for the organization. KDV Label’s ERP Selection Team spent more than a year going through a comprehensive due diligence process to select its “next generation” fully integrated ERP system. “Key deciding factors were PECAS Vision’s strong capabilities in the areas of Scheduling, Shop Floor Data Collection, and Job Costing. The solution demonstrations were very thorough. The Radius Solutions staff answered all my questions,” said Shane Vaughn, president of KDV Labels.

KDV Label will implement the entire PECAS Vision Suite including: Sales and Production Estimating, Order Handling, Production Scheduling, Shop Floor Data Collection, Material Purchasing, Inventory Control, Job Costing, Customer Relationship Management, and Financials. The Company plans to launch the PECAS Vision Suite in June 2008.
