"Printers probably don't care one way or the other if it's JDF or not, as long as the system works," says Heidelberg's Mauro. "But the reason to use JDF products is because of the potential to combine them into a workflow that is suitable for the type of work the printer is producing, whether it's publishing, packaging, or flexo.
