Jay Tapp has been named president of International PaperBox (IPB), a leading North American folding carton and packaging company. According to IPB CEO, Wade Holbrook, to whom Tapp will report, Tapp will focus on overseeing all of IPB’s business and operations, with an emphasis on growing the company rapidly, both in sales and capacity.
Most recently, Tapp served as area vice president at Cenveo, where he oversaw the Cenveo platform sales organization for northern California, Oregon, Utah, Nevada and Arizona. Prior to joining Cenveo, Tapp owned and managed a variety of printing and packaging organizations, including being the founder and original CEO of Tapp Label based in Napa, CA.
“Jay joins IPB during an essential growth period in which we continue to invest in our business toward enabling additional capacity," said Holbrook. "This will allow us to provide excellent products and services to our local markets in Salt Lake and Utah, while providing the footprint to expand our rapidly growing business in and throughout the Mountain and Pacific regions. “His strong background in building and leading sales centric printing and packaging organizations, and his deep understanding of the needs of brand owners and their design communities will serve IPB well as we move forward.”
