IPA Announces Details for 2007 Technical Conference
EDINA, Minn.—IPA, The Association of Graphic Solutions Providers, announced details of its 2007 Technical Conference, June 5 – 7, 2007 at the Westin O’Hare Hotel, in Rosemount, Ill. As a leading premedia workflow conference, attendees will gain the skills and knowledge to integrate their physical and digital workflow into a seamless, Total Workflow.
This year’s conference will offer two tracks, Management and Technical, as well as a hands-on Learning Lab. In the Technical Track, color reproduction and digital workflow technologies are analyzed, evaluated and debated by technology managers. In the Management Track, business managers evaluate new technologies and their impact on the effective operation of a graphic solutions enterprise or department.
New this year, the IPA Learning Lab will allow attendees to receive hands-on training on critical workflow processes and software applications. Using state-of-the-art workstations, participants can learn more about: G7: Creating Calibration Curves; Creative Suite; PDF/X 3 and ICC Profiles; Preflight and File troubleshooting; New Media Publishing: Podcasts, Video, Blogs; and Quark Workflows. In addition, the IPA EXPO allows attendees to share experiences and information on an informal, one-on-one basis with the leading suppliers of today’s most important technologies.
