INX International will have a complete arsenal of equipment and solutions available for labels, flexible packaging and folding cartons at Labelexpo Europe. Demonstrations of the world-class NW210 inkjet UV digital narrow web press will command attention at the show, scheduled to run from September 29 to October 1 at the Brussels Expo.
Since being introduced to the marketplace at last year’s show, reaction to the NW210 inkjet UV digital narrow web press has been overwhelmingly favorable.
“The NW210 press continues to perform as well as we expected," said Rick Clendenning, president and CEO of INX International. "It is the ideal vehicle for many label converters, direct mail and packaging printers who are looking to get involved with inkjet digital printing.
“The NW210 is hard to match with its technology and efficiency. The automated and accurate cutting paths make for extremely fast job changeovers and more work getting done every day. It also is 50 percent wider than our NW140 press. Couple those advantages with the types of inks that we will showcase, and I think we have everything in the booth that printers attending Labelexpo need for their operations.”
The NW210 is a key addition to the company’s EVOLVE Advanced Digital Solutions, offering best in class image quality performance with advanced technology. It delivers incredibly fast UV-LED cure single pass output at up to 80 feet per minute, courtesy of being powered by the JetINX Printhead Drive and Ink Recirculation System. One version is available with a Spartanics X210 laser die-cutting station.
The NW210 is known for producing vivid color results, with easy separation of printed labels on any stock at a maximum printing width of 210mm. It does so using the latest Xaar patented technology that includes 15 Xaar 1002 print heads with seven drop sizes, five color ink channels, – CMYK plus white – and three additional channels that provide an option. The press supports media up to 5mm thick on 3" cores up to two feet in diameter.
A wide array of inks for tag and label, UV flexo shrink label, low migration food packaging and Prodigy jettable fluids for industrial applications will be on display at Labelexpo.
Booth visitors will have many water-based tag and label inks to choose from, as well as UV flexo shrink label inks. INXFlex UV Shrink and INXFlex UV CLMII process inks are two prime examples.
INXFlex UV Shrink 70 process inks are specifically engineered for shrink sleeve applications with heavy ink coverage. They are formulated for minimal plate swell to all plate making technologies for flexographic printing, including digital and fast curing photopolymers. INXFlex UV CLMII are premium LM inks, compliant to various regulations including Nestle Guidance Note, Swiss FSVO 817.23.21, and EuPIA, and offering LM characteristics for indirect food contact. They exhibit superior gloss and good adhesion to many substrates, including prime label, metalized polyesters, foil coated, paper and films.
The complete line of low migration products being offered at Labelexpo focuses on high performance sheetfed inks and energy curable coatings.
Prodigy continues to prove its popularity in the marketplace. Since being introduced in 2010, Prodigy has expanded its original printing applications reach from the textile and tile industries to coroplast, corrugated, food packaging and labels, metal decorating, narrow web, and wallpaper/flooring. Jettable fluids on display will include these applications.
