Roland DGA Partners with Color-Logic
WEST CHESTER, Ohio—“The Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System” was recently chosen by Roland DGA (www.rolanddga.com) for a technology demonstration of its SOLJET PRO III XC-540MT inkjet printer/cutter. The printer/cutter features DPI award-winning Metallic Silver ECO-SOL MAX ink, which creates metallic effects using Color-Logic (www.color-logic.com) software for wide-format posters, banners, vehicle wraps, and contour-cut labels. The technology demonstration debuted at the International Sign Association (ISA) Expo in North America, and was shown at IPEX, in Birmingham, UK.
Announcing the cooperation with Color-Logic, Roland DGA Senior Product Manager Robert Ozankan said, “The XC-540MT printer/cutter demonstrates the virtually unlimited metallic effects, which can be produced on a broad range of specialty media. With this machine, inkjet printing has taken a giant step forward in print evolution. At the ISA Expo, the Roland Creative Center gallery featured eye-catching decals and posters produced with Color-Logic technology. IPEX attendees also viewed these images and explored the concept further on the Roland DG UK stand.”
“We are extremely pleased that Roland DGA chose the Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System to demonstrate the capability of its new wide-format metallic printer,” said Mark Geeves, Color-Logic sales and marketing director. “At the recent ISA show in Orlando, the XC-540MT produced metallic posters and decals which excited the crowd and drew many positive comments, and the IPEX technology demonstration was equally well-received.”
