Inkcups Introduces MagiCoat Mini Pre-Treatment for Direct-to-Object Printing
Inkcups has introduced the MagiCoat Mini, a compact version of its MagiCoat Pre-Treatment System. Designed for lower production demands, this system offers state-of-the-art features in a smaller footprint, which can be ideal for label and package printing companies looking to trial extending their offerings to include direct-to-object printing of bottles and jars. The MagiCoat Mini pre-treats cylindrical objects to ensure optimal adhesion during direct-to-object printing.
Key Features of the MagiCoat Mini:
- Ability to pretreat up to 10 items per minute
- Dedicated flaming station and advanced flaming head for superior performance
- Four independently rotating stations for consistent quality
- Utilization of a fine mist spraying system for even application
The MagiCoat Mini, with its four independently rotating stations, flaming station, digital temperature control, and flaming head, works in tandem with MagiCoat Solutions parts A, B, and C to enhance adhesion on various cylindrical vessels, including those made of glass and other materials. Together, the MagiCoat Mini and MagiCoat Solution can withstand up to 200 residential washes or up to 600 industrial washes.
A notable feature of the MagiCoat Mini is its temperature detect functionality, which automatically indexes upon reaching the optimal temperature, ensuring a uniform pre-treatment process. Additionally, it utilizes a water-based primer, MagiCoat Solution that compiles with the stringent regulations of FDA 21 CFR 175.300, CPSIA, and California Prop 65.
