NAPCO Media is pleased to announce that packagePRINTING has been rebranded as Packaging Impressions.
Serving the packaging and converting industry for more than 65 years, Packaging Impressions comprises a popular print magazine, live and virtual events, a weekly e-newsletter, a resource-rich website and much more. While the name and logo are different, the mission is largely the same – to provide package printers and converters the most relevant information they need to maintain their success in a competitive industry. But what the new name will allow, is the opportunity to extend beyond printing, and cover the consumer trends, brand owner desires and packaging design tips you can use to keep your business at the forefront.
“For decades, package printers and converters have trusted packagePRINTING to bring them in-depth coverage and analysis of the packaging industry, and that trust is something we value greatly,” Cory Francer, editor-in-chief and content director of Packaging Impressions, said. “With our new identity as Packaging Impressions, we will build on our strong foundation, continuing to cover the latest in printing and converting, while diving deeper into the market drivers behind the innovation throughout the complete packaging supply chain.”
The new branding will give this publication a new and fresh look and better align it with its sister publications, Printing Impressions, In-plant Impressions and Wide-format Impressions. In addition, this change will better position Packaging Impressions to cover the trend of convergence that is rapidly reshaping the industry while supporting NAPCO Media’s commitment to the PRINTING United community.
PRINTING United, a brand-new trade show event, owned and operated by SGIA in partnership with NAPCO Media, will launch in Dallas, Texas, October 23–25, 2019. Focusing on the opportunities presented by the convergence of printing technologies and markets, PRINTING United will cover printing technologies in industry segments from garment to graphic, packaging to commercial, and industrial. PRINTING United will serve as a gathering point for the package printer and converter community through a series of focused educational events to be hosted by Packaging Impressions.
