In-line lamination is still a hot topic, as flexo printers continue to develop end-use-specific converting methods. Michael Ferrante, VP/sales at Preferred Systems, Inc. (PSI), sees a number of new line and retrofit installations involving the ability to print up to ten colors, in-line laminate, and apply an in-line cold seal in register for bottle labels and candy wrappers.
