The International Association of Diecutting and Diemaking (IADD) will host a Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony in Orlando, FL, USA. The event, co-located with SuperCorrExpo, will take place on Monday, August 9 to honor and recognize award recipient, Clint Medlock of Stafford Cutting Dies, Inc.
“The Lifetime Achievement Award is the most prestigious award our Association has,” says IADD President, Gino Gualtieri of Central Die Supplies Inc. “We are all looking forward to gathering with close friends and colleagues to celebrate the many contributions Clint has brought to the diecutting and diemaking industry.”
The IADD Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual’s significant and enduring contributions to the diecutting converting industry. Nominations for the recipient of this award are submitted by IADD members and a committee comprised of past IADD award recipients makes the final honoree selection.
Recipients of the award have made outstanding and ongoing accomplishments to the industry and/or to the IADD over a lengthy period of time in their professional lives; are recognized as an exceptional industry member who has advanced the welfare of the industry; openly shared valuable experience with other industry members; contributed significantly and consistently to the advancement or recognition of the industry through service to the IADD and/or related organizations. It is only given sporadically, to ensure that recipients meet the criteria and are truly deserving.
Our 2021 recipient has proven deserving, Clint has been involved with IADD for over 30 years and in that time has held many leadership positions. He is described as someone who is always willing to share information and has contributed his knowledge through technical articles, presentations and as an active member of the IADD TechTeam. He was instrumental in the development and creation of the IADD Odyssey Expo, a bi-annual trade show and innovative concept in technical training featuring a hands-on Techshop where training programs come alive in an actual working diemaking and diecutting facility inside the exhibit area. He truly exemplifies all attributes of a Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.
