
Starting April 1, 2025, HP’s labels and packaging product team will have a new head. When Roi Liraz takes on the role of new Head of the Labels and Packaging Product Team, he’ll bring a wealth of experience in the digital printing arena. Specifically, Roi brings 20 years with HP Indigo, where he played a crucial role in advancing Indigo technology.
Most recently, Roi managed the development of the Indigo V12 Digital Press. HP, a PRINTING United Alliance member, noted in a written statement: “... as system engineering lead for the HP Indigo V12, Roi was pivotal in aligning technology, business, and execution, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.”
Roi also managed core technology teams in ink, where he further enriched a deep understanding of the intricacies of ink formulation and media compatibility for digital printing. For this role, Roi pulled on his formal training in engineering and physics. Roi earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and a Master of Engineering in System Engineering from Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
