Heidelberg To Offer Seminars At Graph Expo
KENNESAW, Ga.—Heidelberg has announced the lineup of its Print Media Academy (PMA) educational seminars open to all 2008 Graph Expo attendees.
NAPL’s Andrew Paparozzi and PrintBuyersOnline.com’s Suzanne Morgan will join Heidelberg packaging, prepress, and sheetfed experts to offer 15 free seminars covering the latest industry trends and business issues.
Heidelberg’s PMA provides industry training and seminars year-round in key locations across the globe. At Graph Expo, the PMA will temporarily come to Chicago’s McCormick Place to serve as a hub of industry thought leadership during the tradeshow, to be held Oct. 26-29.

PMA sessions at Graph Expo will cover topics such as: Trends in Print Buying, Top 20 Pressroom Problems, The State of Our Industry, Three Reasons You Must Optimize Your Workflow, Why You Need an MIS, and Finishing for Profitability. All PMA seminars will be located in the Heidelberg booth #1200, which will demonstrate Heidelberg’s theme of “HEI Performance and HEI Value” by featuring a range of prepress, commercial print, packaging, postpress, service, and workflow solutions.
Seminars will be held five times per day on a first-come, first-serve basis on Sunday through Tuesday, Oct. 26-28. A full schedule of PMA speakers and topics is available at www.us.heidelberg.com . In addition to its PMA seminars, Heidelberg’s Graph Expo booth will be home to a main theater, which will feature presentations by Heidelberg experts focused on the benefits of a fully integrated print shop. Theater presentations will run at 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday, Oct. 26-28, and 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29.
