Hammer Packaging Expands Capacity With Two New Presses

ROCHESTER, NY—May 2, 2012—Hammer Packaging is investing for growth in 2012 by adding two new presses to our already deep line-up of packaging printing equipment.

Hammer has purchased a third variable speed offset printing press (VSOP), due in mid-November! The purchase of this additional press makes Hammer the single largest user of VSOP sleeve technology in the world. Our new VSOP will be equipped with the latest upgrades from Muller Martini.

Hammer is also growing our Flexo Division with the purchase of a new narrow-web 10-color Nilpeter UV-Flexo press starting up in May 2012. This investment will allow Hammer to keep pace with the growth of our Flexo operations, which has recently moved and expanded to our Rochester Tech Park location with an additional 60,000 square feet of space.
