Hammer Packaging Receives Four Awards in Global Print Competition
ROCHESTER, N.Y.—Hammer Packaging received four 2007 Premier Print Awards for outstanding achievement in the production of labels and flexographic printing. The Premier Print Awards are the graphic arts industry’s largest and most prestigious international printing competition that recognizes those responsible for the creation and production of outstanding print communications.
Competing against more than 5,200 entries from printing and graphic arts firms around the world, Hammer Packaging received an Award of Recognition for Coca-Cola “Walk The Red Carpet” Academy Awards in-mold label and Certificates of Merit for Rose’s Mojito/Cocktail Infusions and Dasani bottled water cut and stack labels and Tavern on the Green balsamic vinegar pressure sensitive label.
Michael Makin, president and CEO of the Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (PIA/GATF), noted, “Each year, the field of entries attracts impressive work from some of the best printers in the world. Only a small percentage of companies win any award. The craftsmanship and hard work of Hammer Packaging enabled them to produce an award-winning piece in the face of very stiff competition.”
