Graphco, a provider of innovative printing solutions, is thrilled to announce the overwhelming success of its booth at the recently concluded PRINTING United Show in Las Vegas. The event proved to be a game-changer for Graphco as it generated significant sales and strong interest across a wide range of printing equipment from its partners, including RMGT, SD-Italy, ProCut, and Foliant. PRINTING United, recognized as the premier industry event for commercial printers and equipment providers, offered the perfect platform for Graphco to showcase its lineup of solutions tailored to modern printing demands.
“The response at PRINTING United was nothing short of remarkable,” states Chris Manley, President Graphco. “Our booth was buzzing with energy, and the interest in our equipment, especially from RMGT, SD-Italy, ProCut, and Foliant, exceeded all expectations. It’s clear that the printing industry is looking for solutions that drive profitability, and we’re proud to provide the technology that helps our customers achieve their goals.” Visitors to the Graphco booth experienced live demonstrations of advanced technology that is driving innovation in the printing industry. This resulted in substantial sales, with several major deals finalized during the show.
Finishing Solutions: ProCut Fold Stream Attracts Printers Entering Folding Carton Market
“We were pleased to launch a new product from ProCut to the North American print market at PRINTING United,” states Manley. The Fold Stream is a compact and extremely easy to use folding and gluing system tailor made for the on demand digital printing and short run folding carton segment. ProCut’s high-performance systems and Foliant's industry-leading laminating solutions also performed exceptionally well at the show.
The first Fold Stream sold in the USA was purchased by Wells & Drew Printing Company, based in Jacksonville, FL. Additionally, Detroit based Accuform Printing & Graphics purchased both the Fold Stream and a Foliant Taurus 530NG, allowing this commercial printer to provide high quality folding carton production and lamination in house.
Foliant, as a brand with both single- and dual-side laminating, offers a wide range of laminating machines. In addition to Accuform Printing & Graphics, two more companies enhanced their finishing capabilities with solutions from Foliant. C&W Graphic Finishing, Indianapolis, IN purchased the Taurus 530NG and Integrated Concepts Group, Madison Heights, MI, ordered a Vega 400A.
Continuing the trend of investments in finishing, Graphco is pleased to announce the sale of many systems from Horizon, a provider of finishing solutions, specializing in automated trimming, binding, and folding equipment. Messenger LLC purchased two Horizon CRF-362 along with the Graphic Whizard FL460Z. Yorke Print Shoppe signed off on a Horizon AFV-566FKT Folder, BCT Indiana closed on a Horizon CRF-362 during the show, and Indianapolis’s highly successful printing company, EZ Mailing, purchased a Horizon AFC-746F 8-UP format paper folder. Polpress in Chicago also purchased a Horizon BQ-300 PUR perfect binder, so all in all the finishing segment is proving resilient.
SD Italy: Hybridizing Cut CNC Routing & Cutting Equipment Steals the Show
Four new SD Italy Augusta F150R CNC Routing & Cutting System sales were announced during PRINTING United, with major investments being made in various market segments. In the architectural signage segment, Summit West Sign (Mesa, AZ) and Awning Innovations (McCordsville, IN) have both purchased Augusta F150R units featuring a fully integrated Automatic Stud Welding (ASW) systems. “Our average 5’ X 10’ plate of aluminum can include up to 100 spot welded studs after the machining process is completed. Being able to program the welding of these studs into our CNC program, rather than applying them by hand is a phenomenal step forward in our production,” states Dana Duncan from Summit West.
Augusta F150R systems also went under contact to two additional companies who will both benefit from the SD’s Hybridizing Cut approach as they use their machines for a truly diverse group of applications including kiss-cutting vinyl, creasing corrugated board, and doing true 3D milling of materials to create custom facades and picture frames. These investments will be highlighted in the near future.
RMGT Presses Continue to Perform
Graphco reported impressive interest and sales in RMGT presses at the event, with attendees drawn to their efficiency, quality, and affordability. RMGT's 9 Series perfecting press, designed to reduce operating costs while maximizing productivity, was a highlight, solidifying its place as a top choice for commercial printers.
During PRINTING United, The National Group, based in Lafayette, Indiana, closed on a 4-color RMGT 970 perfecting press with LED curing technology. This press will replace an existing 28” x 40” press and joins their earlier investment in a 5-color RMGT 920 with LED curing. This recent investment will make The National Group an “All-RMGT Shop”.
Also going under contract during PRINTING United, was a 5-color RMGT 970 press with LED curing technology. This is another example of a 6-UP printing company who decided to upgrade to a 8-UP+ format press. Details will be announced shortly at the preference of the customer.
A Bright Future Ahead
With over $4.4 Million worth of deals closed, and a tremendous pipeline of opportunities, Graphco is optimistic about the future and looks forward to continuing its role as a trusted partner for printers across the nation. As the company reflects on the success of PRINTING United, its commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions that enhance productivity, and profitability remains stronger than ever. “We have already booked a big booth again for PRINTING United 2025 in Orlando next Fall. We wouldn’t miss it!” concludes Manley.
