GPA Announces Kim Hajec as Senior Vice President of Marketing & Corporate Strategy
GPA, providers of global and industry product intelligence to the Digital, Offset and Flexo communities, announce Kim Hajec as their new Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Strategy, effective November 4.
Hajec comes to GPA with over two decades of experience driving marketing and business results in many leading organizations across a variety of industries. She has spent the last seven years with GPA OEM partner, HP, as their Head of Marketing for the Americas, and has a deep understanding of the print industry and GPA’s strength, leadership, and value in the marketplace.
“We are very excited to have Kim join our leadership team. Her expertise in the print market and marketing strategy experience will help guide GPA brand positioning and execution into the future,” says Barry Nelson, President for GPA. Bringing with her a passion for leading and cultivating meaningful partnerships, as well as her creative experience, Hajec is poised to elevate and highlight GPA and Fedrigoni’s Brand Beliefs with fresh and inviting perspective and knowledge.
Welcoming Hajec into her new position and retiring from her own is MaryAnn Geers. Geers is a 25-year veteran of GPA, and decades more in the print industry. She navigated her way from Specification Sales Manager to Area Vice President of Sales, and for the past nine years, to her current position as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Strategy. One of the longest tenured team members at GPA, Geers and her contributions are sewn into the fabric of GPA’s journey to success. Her leadership has touched every corner of the group and has made a significant cultural impact as a thought leader and visionary.
Nelson says, “MaryAnn Geers has been an essential and inspirational leader, helping us through an incredibly volatile market dynamic over the past 3 years. She has been an invaluable contributor to GPA and the industry for the last 25 and we wish her all the best in her well-deserved retirement.”
The combination of engaging interactions with customers and leadership teams, a focus on innovative solutions, and an active participation in industry discussions all reinforce GPA’s continued strength and influence in the marketplace.
