GOA 2010 Exhibitors Among Industry’s Best
MIAMI BEACH, Fla.—Graphics of the Americas (GOA), celebrating its 35th anniversary February 25-27 in Miami Beach, Florida, has announced that an extensive line-up of exhibitors has again signed up to be part of one of the largest, annual combined exposition and education events in the U.S.
A unique expo and conference that attracts print providers, suppliers, and creative professionals from all over the world, GOA 2010 showcases the convergence of industry knowledge, products, and technology.
GOA 2010 has secured close to 200 exhibitors to date including HP, Presstek, Riso, Van Son Holland, X-Rite Inc./Pantone, Rollem International, and many others. Heidelberg and Adobe are hosting special bonus sessions this year, while educational, theoretical, and practical sessions covering virtually every facet of technology, strategy, and management are being offered. Presstek, Inc. will be showcasing its Presstek 52DI digital offset printing press; Presstek Vector FL52 with Freedom Pro Plates; DPM Pro 400; PathWay Web-to-Print Solution; Presstek Latitude, a highly automated PDF/JDF workflow; and the Presstek Momentum Pro, a fully-integrated RIP and workflow solution designed to automate the production process using certified PDF tools.
Rollem will introduce the Advantage Card Cutting system for finishing multiple-up Greeting cards and Photo cards. This two-directional system edge trims the images in both directions, slits each card, and applies the finest quality score and cut-score available.
Die Cutters, Inc., home of Cleen-Cut Flatbed Die Cutters, has rolled out its new 15-inch Tabletop model, designed to handle those small but sometimes intricate and delicate projects.
This past year, GOA appeared on Tradeshow Week’s prestigious Top 200 Tradeshow List with the last recorded show numbers posting at 250,000 net sq. ft., 367 exhibiting companies, and 10,600 professional attendees. More than 1,200 attendees participated in the show’s diverse educational sessions.
For the sixth year in a row, GOA has been selected by the International Trade Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce to participate in the International Buyers Program. This program increases international attendance and helps U.S. exhibitors at GOA 2010 capitalize on the overseas purchasing power. Sixty percent of GOA attendees come from across the U.S., while 40 percent travel worldwide from Mexico, South America, Central America, and Canada.
