GAA and ACIMGA To Participate in CPP EXPO
PARAMUS, N.J.—H.A. Bruno, LLC, organizers of CPP EXPO, have announced that GAA (Gravure Association of America) and ACIMGA (Italian Manufacturers’ Association for the Graphic, Converting & Paper Industry) will join a long list of associations participating in the co-located industry events of CPP EXPO, PACK EXPO, and PROCESS EXPO scheduled to take place October 15-17, 2007 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The GAA will participate in CPP EXPO, and as such will have member companies featured in PMMI’s Showcase of Packaging Innovations, an industry forum for leading-edge solutions in all aspects of converting, package printing and packaging processes.
ACIMGA’s presence on the 2007 exposition floor reinforces their support of the Italian manufacturers who have already confirmed participation in CPP EXPO. ACIMGA will work with show management in promoting the benefits of this supply chain expo and act as a conduit of information for their supplier membership. Future plans are now being discussed and include expanding ACIMGA’s role to include a formal, country pavilion that could attract dozens of Italian manufacturers as exhibitors in 2008 that were unable to participate on their own in previous editions.
“This year’s event and the confirmation of two additional partners further demonstrate the idea that having diverse, but related industry groups gather in one place, at one time truly makes sense. GAA represents a huge package-printing contingent, while ACIMGA expands our penetration into the European converting and package-printing arena. Our plans are to continue increasing our reach into all aspects of converting, as well as all end-user segments that will ensure success for our participating manufacturers and suppliers—we’re achieving a little more with each event and we anticipate even greater things in Chicago,” stated Leo Nadolske, president of CPP EXPO.
Close to two dozen associations form an industry alliance across all expos and further connect the co-located events of CPP-PACK-PROCESS EXPOs. These diverse associations/industry groups are taking part in the forum in a variety of manners from technical and educational presentations, as well as annual business meetings to participation in package design/awards forums. Partnering with industry leaders such as these expands the expertise and solutions offered to attendees while ultimately growing the buying audience. GAA and ACIMGA join other converting-focused leaders within this alliance, including: AICC, AIMCAL, CEMA, FPA, and PLGA; more are anticipated to join over the next 60 days.
