FTA Forum Tackles Generational Workforce Training
BOHEMIA, NY—March 3, 2015—Change is an intimidating word to some, yet ignites excitement in others. As the flexo world continues to advance, it’s more important than ever to provide your staff with the proper tools and training to achieve their goals, as well as those of the company. This can be challenging as today’s workforce easily spans 4-5 generations. Flexographic Technical Association’s (FTA) 2015 Forum tackles this collective issue head on with the session, “From Tribal Knowledge to Technology: How to Understand The Needs of Your Workforce.”
Chaired by Jennye Scott, Berry Plastics Corp., and Shelley Rubin, FTA, the session will address the issues that arise from remote and instructor-led training methods, different learning styles, personality types and age gaps. Additionally, the session will explore the four key roadblocks commonly encountered in corporate training environments, how to avoid common pitfalls, and perhaps most importantly, how to make a training program meaningful and impactful.
