FSEA National Convention ‘Pops’ Into Scottsdale in April
The Foil Stamping and Embossing Association (FSEA) will ‘Pop It With Foil’ when the organization holds its 2008 National Convention April 10-12 at the Hilton Scottsdale Resort & Villas in Scottsdale, Ariz. The convention offers a supplier trade fair, educational programming to address trends in the industry, and an awards banquet where the best of the industry will be honored.
The supplier trade fair and welcome reception will kick off the convention, offering attendees the opportunity to discover what’s new from industry suppliers, network with peers, and sample regional fare.
General sessions on Friday morning will commence with PIA Executive Director Michael Makin in a State of the Industry address. Other timely programming includes a two-part session on implementing lean manufacturing practices into your operation; a program on new finishing technologies in the industry today; and an afternoon track on environmental/green issues—issues which impact the print finisher, particularly in the areas of foil stamping and embossing.
After Saturday’s general sessions, the convention will top off with the coveted Gold Leaf Awards Banquet and presentations. The finest work in the industry will be recognized, along with the special 2008 FSEA Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient, Fred Isler of Bobst Group, North America.
