Fortis Solutions Acquires Smithfield Foods' Label Plant
Fortis Solutions Group has acquired Smithfield Foods’ label printing plant.
The plant, based outside of Kansas City, Missouri, provides pressure sensitive prime, promotional and thermal labels to a number of Smithfield Foods facilities, as well as third party customers. It will operate under the Fortis Solutions Group name.

The company employs 265 people across five sites and intends to continue its pursuit of attractive acquisitions to further the breadth of product offerings and locations that can serve its customer base.
