Flextec Corp., a label and packaging converter based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, recently achieved certification from Graphic Measures International (GMI), reinforcing the company’s mission statement of “Quality First Without Compromise.”
GMI serves packaging suppliers and brand owners. It certifies, monitors and measures the performance of packaging suppliers. The organization helps brand owners by controlling the variables through print facility certification and scientific, repeatable measurement of global packaging.
Flextec is constantly evolving and strives to integrate positive change within the corporation by improving quality control policies and procedures. By maintaining checks and balances in its converting processes, Flextec ensures its customers receive the best possible quality for product identification and brand protection.
Flextec’s success in color management is achieved through aligning gray scale, L*a*b* values and Delta E measurements, along with calibration of prepress software, proofing systems and printing equipment.
“Going through the process of implementing GMI’s suggested improvements in our equipment and procedures, and receiving vendor support for substrates and inks brought our team of professionals closer together,” Rocky Rahija, Flextec president and CEO, said. “We all have one common goal and will certainly deliver an important message of confidence to our customers through proven performance.”
