FTA Partners with CPP EXPO/PACK EXPO
RONKONKOMA, N.Y.—Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) announced its new status as “co-sponsor” of CPP EXPO/PACK EXPO International, slated for Oct. 31 - Nov. 3 in Chicago’s McCormick Place Complex. Jay Kaible, FTA director of business development, commented, “Based on the excellent reputation of PACK EXPO and CPP EXPO, FTA management is certain this partnership will provide our membership with the expertise that will make their operations superior in their offerings. Flexography is in high demand and our members will be among the 45,000 packaging, processing, and converting professionals gathered in Chicago to learn, network, and share ideas.”
Leo Nadolske, president, CPP EXPO, commented, “Working in concert with FTA enables us to offer excellent opportunities for the FTA membership to learn and network, especially those who represent many different sectors, such as folding carton, tag and label, flexible packaging, and corrugated.”
FTA will work closely with CPP EXPO to assemble a world-class conference program that offers its members valuable insight into improving operations, increasing efficiency, and maintaining equipment. For the converter serving the food and beverage, household, pharmaceutical, and personal care industry sectors, this will be an ideal place to find the solutions aimed directly at the tag/label, flexible packaging, corrugated, and folding carton segments.
In addition to the FTA/CPP sessions, the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) will partner with PMMI and co-locate the first-ever Manufacturing Excellence Conference during CPP EXPO/PACK EXPO International 2010. This Manufacturing Excellence Conference will deliver two days of education on topics like product safety, sustainability, and operational reliability.
