Mark Andy Supports Flexo Education at FTS

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—Mark Andy is supporting Flexographic Trade Services (FTS) with the installation of a Performance Series P5 in the educational facility in Ft. Mill, S.C. The new press will be available for viewing during the upcoming FTS Open House scheduled for August 10, 2010. The Performance Series press line encompasses state-of-the-art flexographic print technology with a uniquely engineered print-head design and extremely fast makeready times.

Converters, educators, and students alike will have the opportunity to visit the school and experience the simple operator interface which includes repeatable settings and limited operator steps for easy and quick job setup. With this next-generation Performance Series installed at FTS, the press is ideal for the education of new operators, while also providing an opportunity for experienced converters to learn how their operations and profits will benefit from enhanced capabilities. The Performance Series line has proven a great success for Mark Andy, as 35 presses have already been sold since its initial launch of the P7 model in 2009.
