Firstan Ltd. Selects Radius Solutions’ PECAS Vision

SHEFFIELD, England—Radius Solutions Ltd., an integrated business information management provider for the packaging and printing industry, announced that Firstan, a folding carton producer, has chosen to implement the PECAS Vision ERP/MIS software as their standard solution.

After moving into a new facility in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, Firstan’s management looked to replace its existing business management software system with an industry-specific ERP/MIS solution that would fit the processes of its organization and provide the required management information to assist with its current growth plans. These plans include cementing its position as a paperboard packaging supplier to the pharmaceutical and food industries.

Key considerations when choosing the new system were improvements in costing, planning/scheduling, estimating, and pricing. The ability to generate and provide access to management information was also an important factor in selecting a new system.

The partnership will provide Firstan with a single integrated software system to run its entire operation, which, according to the company, will allow improvements in efficiency, immediate access to business information, and improved response times to client inquiries.
