Dancer Control

The DTI-3400 dancer controller/tension indicator from The Montalvo Corporation offers integrated load cell feedback and set point control. It will simultaneously process signals from a pair of load cells and the dancer position sensor and combines the storage and shock absorption capabilities of a dancer system, while accurately indicating web tension. Users can also add a second I/P converter, enter a tension set point, and the controller will adjust the dancer load to provide the desired level of tension. Progressive PID circuitry regulates the output to the unwind brake and maintains the position of the dancer arm from full roll down to the core. www.montalvo.com
